Who We Are:
Performance Homes is a company that focuses on creating a healthy, safe, comfortable and energy efficient environment in the home. We started out as a home builder passionate about building energy efficient and environmentally friendly homes (construction practices, water reclamation, alternative energy), and have adopted this philosophy for existing homes utilizing tax rebates. Customers save money immediately, then enjoy the payback over time with lower utility bills and a higher resale/appraisal value on their homes.
Our approach is to do a "Home Performance" audit which focuses on health, safety, comfort and energy efficiency of the home and it's occupants. We start with a blower door test, then assess the home and make recommendations that can be done by us, by another contractor or by the homeowner themselves either all at once or in phases.
Performance Homes built one of the first Earth Advantage certified homes to receive an Energy Performance Score (EPS) in Lane County.
